Adobe Flash Player 10.3 버전에 추가된 Flash Player 설정 관리자

Adobe사에서 제공하는 Adobe Flash Player 10.3 버전을 설치할 경우, 제어판에 Flash Player 설정 관리자 메뉴가 추가되는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Windows 7 제어판에서는 시스템 및 보안 메뉴 맨 하단에 Flash Player 항목이 추가되고 있습니다.

일반적으로 인터넷 사이트에서 Flash 콘텐츠 화면에 마우스 우클릭을 하여 생성되는 하위 메뉴 중 [설정] 항목을 클릭하면 그림과 같이 Adobe Flash Player 설정창이 생성되는 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.

해당 설정 항목 중에서는 사용자 로컬 저장소에 해당 Flash와 관련된 데이터를 저장할 수 있으며, 추가적으로 탐색 내역, 게임 진행률, 저장된 작업, 환경 설정, 사용자 PC 식별 등의 정보가 기록될 수 있습니다.

이런 개인정보와 관련된 프라이버시(Privacy) 보호를 위해 최근에는 삭제를 지원하는 기능이 추가되면서 제어판에 Flash Player 설정 관리자 메뉴가 추가되었습니다.

Flash Player 설정 관리자를 살펴보면 로컬 저장소, 카메라 및 마이크, 재생, 고급 설정 항목으로 구성되어 있습니다.

[사이트별 로컬 저장소 설정] 항목에서는 그림과 같이 사용자가 방문한 인터넷 사이트들 중에서 특정 Flash가 로컬 저장소를 사용하도록 허용한 목록을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari 웹 브라우저에서 저장되는 Flash 정보를 삭제하기 위해서는 로컬 저장소 항목의 삭제 버튼 또는 고급 항목의 삭제 버튼을 이용하여 데이터와 설정값을 모두 삭제하실 수 있습니다.
